Dear Linda Naylor,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Family Promise of Warren County, (FPWC), I want to thank you for your kind donation of the 15 quilts. Your donation helps to support the shelter and provide necessary items for the homeless families.

Since our inception in October 1998, FPWC has assisted nearly 1,000 families in finding affordable housing, employment, and daycare. Along with the supplies that are donated to effectively operate the Day Center, such as paper products, cleaning supplies, and laundry supplies; the families often benefit from other donations such as furniture, household needs, children’s supplies, and diapers. These donations allow FPWC to better assist our families as they move on to lives of their own.

Again, many thanks for your support of the homeless children and their families that stay at the Family Promise of Warren County.

Dear Members of the Warren County Quilt Guild:

Thank you for your investment in Warren County’s children with your support of the Child Advocacy Center of Warren County (CACWC). We greatly appreciate your contribution of 15 beautifully handmade quilts to support and comfort the children in our community who have experienced child abuse and neglect. As a result of your continual support, we continue to provide high quality services and comfort to our families at one of the most difficult times in their lives.

It was truly special to spend time with the guild members and hear about all of the time, effort and love that goes into making these beautiful pieces of art. I absolutely love hearing that some of these quilts are created by multiple members coming together, creating individual blocks that come together to create a whole. I feel this mirrors the work we do at the CACWC, so many dedicated individuals coming together to make an even larger impact. Hearing about the individuals that dedicate so much of their time to making individual quilts, makes me smile that there are such caring people in our community that help a child that they do not even know.

Thank you!
